A little family time goes a long way, so away to the man-cave I went.
A7C ISO 25,600
I ran it through Topaz AI Clear from the old Topaz Studio. I have the latest Topaz Denoise AI but
I like the old old version better most times.

I really think a1, in spite of its very high price, is the answer. David, the A1 isn't going to happen. I just can't justify the expense for a hobby. My wife would like to retire the end of next year so the extra 6500s are going into the retirement account. MedicineMan4040 wrote in post #19241860 My favorite APS-C Sony camera of all time was the A7Riv in crop mode. All the ergos I love, fantastic AF, great buffer. Only thing missing --like all new A7 series-- a complete flippy screen like on my a99ii. The Alpha 1 with its mpx number can do APS-C just fine too. I've always hated the rangefinder style Sony's for BIF/wildlife. So I can understand Bill's desire (mine too). The X-T4 was my answer and with the same pixel density as the A7Riv it works a charm, and surprisingly has decent (not a9 level of coure) AF tracking. BUT no 200600...the greatest wildlife/bierding/BIF lens ever made (in good light). Yeah, if Sony was gonna they would have. Not like they haven't had time to ![]() I have really thought about the 7R4 Robert but the 7R3 is serving me so well at this point that I'm not willing to do it. I was tempted by the a6600 at the current price and may still if I can get it cheap through Greentoe. Bill being Smug

Constant rain. But we went out anyway....to the swampy area uplake where the cattails grow hoping for a RWBB. Found one, but not on a cattail. That's the looser shot. Just a downpour, all of us soaked to the bone and cold for hours after (yes I had a rain jacket). So back inside for a boredom shot using the FE20/1.8 and a crop from same. ![]() ![]() ![]() Lee, how 'bout a metal box sized to suit with flanges. Simply bolt to the floor of the boot? In my 4Runner I have a slide out drawer system that is all metal under the carpet on all sides and is lockable. Many system like this are made depending on what you want to do. ![]() That is nice

Historically I click file then save and can choose jpg and it used to automatically flatten the image as a jpg to the desktop in my case momentarily while saving the product.....then my layers would reappear and I could keep editing. Now I have to flatten the image then choose jpg (which was not an option until I flatten or merge all layers/only tiff and two other file types available until I merge the layers), then I can save. Setting? New thing with PScc? It's a new feature added to the latest update of Photoshop and it's a PITA. Now you can only save layered files as .PSD, .PSB, or .TIFF. To save your layered file as a jpg or png, you now need to 'save a copy'. The thing is, that will append the word 'copy' to your file name and you'll have to remove that from the file name if you don't want it there. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

Did a few quick edits from one of our big hiking days, but I plan on really processing these files when we get back. Thought I'd share a glimpse from our adventure.
