Thanks Travis

This shot was taken the day before the shots above at Neist Point Lighthouse. First time using my Firecrest 10 stop but I must say the colour cast is negligible and the files are much easier to handle than my Lee filters 10 and 6 stop images as they always have a tricky blue cast to them.

This was 60 seconds

Stunning landscape work!
Of course I'd creep up to the edge and look for Puffins and Gannets (see any by chance?).

Unfortunately not, puffins are hard to see on Skye and usually slightly earlier in the year. The best puffin viewing is on the less populated isles further out which is where a lot of the wildlife boat trips target. Didn’t see any gannets either, again last time I saw them was more off shore from a boat tour, love the way they dive into the water

I love how the horizontal linear lines in the sky merge and become horizontal linear lines in the ocean. It provides a rather breathtaking sense of immensity.

And just for good measure here is the 35mm version.

What do you guys prefer? 16, 24 or 35?

I'd say the 24mm version. It has a better balance between foreground, background and subject imo.

Yeah the Firecrest filters are very neutral and produce very clean files IMO.

That is such a wild looking landscape, I have seen it before, and every time I see it, it is different. Looks a little like Point Reyes out in CA too.

Kept strolling down hoping for a closer up of the graphic near the nose.
Really nice airplane.

Hopefully, the 3rd image was the charm for you to see the nose graphic.

I can post a bigger shot of just it if you'd like. :-)

Awesome David, got a real Gotham vibe to it for me. This would look great as a metallic print, so crisp
