Just realised it’s the 24-105 again, you are giving me GAS for that lens !

I’m really happy to have the zoom. I really would rather have taken this shot with the a7R II and Loxia 35mm, but my wife, dogs, and I were actually just on a bicycle outing to enjoy the BeltLine (a biking/walking path encircling downtown Atlanta). So, the 24-105mm makes for a perfectly convenient easy-to-take-it-anywhere zoom with a whole lot of range. I also had my 12-24 and Peak Design tripod snuggled in the doggie stroller.

I hope to return to the city soon just myself and set of Loxias to make it a more photo-centric outing.

This one is from the 2nd day of the trip. Its the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye. Again with the Firecrest 10 stop

Very nice David. Great mood to that one, the little highlights at the tops of the trees make for a good separation to the buildings. 21 years living here...never shot that spot...

Eddie the Fairy Pools are dreamy! Promise you'll go back in winter/snow so we can enjoy the difference.

I did the version 3.0 update (super super easy) on the Tam 28-200.
I focused on a flower this morning, the flower I focused on was not wonderfully sharp but the flower a mm or two behind
it was. So hmmm, maybe a firmware update is in order.

This shot a couple hours afterward, me taking a break from loading the campervan, sitting on the lower deck in the side yard.

Thanks Eddie! I enjoyed your shots from your recent trip. Looks like an amazing place to shoot.

I haven't used my A9 and 200-600 in over a month and am going in to serious withdrawal. We got the POD fully unloaded into the new garage, but still have a ways to go before getting fully unpacked. Still, I was at the grocery store in town yesterday and noticed this right behind first base at the local little league field.

I parked for a few minutes and saw mama osprey poke her head up in the nest, so i now have at least somewhere to start in my new town. I love how osprey can just ignore all the human activity right below them! I'm glad I found this so nearby my new house, so I can get back into the swing of things soon.

This shot was taken the day before the shots above at Neist Point Lighthouse. First time using my Firecrest 10 stop but I must say the colour cast is negligible and the files are much easier to handle than my Lee filters 10 and 6 stop images as they always have a tricky blue cast to them.

This was 60 seconds
