When my 16-35 and 24-70 arrived...it was supposed to require signature...nope...left on the doorstep.

I've had UPS do that as well. I think because of Covid, they've dropped the signature requirement...for now at least.

Congrats! Bad weather? That’s perfect for shooting some dramatic images.

By the way, not sure how I survived living in Houston for 10 plus years. I’m here in NW Arkansas and the heat and humidity is crazy tough. I’m so used to the dry heat.

You know you miss real tex-mex though

Our full day of storms finally abated in time to permit a golden sunset at West Point Lake. The air was thick with the maximum humidity, which provided a rather aesthetically appealing haze.

Nice, dreamy look, hope to see more from the Loxia 35 when the air is not like pea soup.

An overnight stay in this little town is what convinced me to retire here. Just went back after picking up my Maine drivers license from the next town over last week. A nice serene morning in the harbor.

Everyone happy with their Sony 200-600 lens? Would love to acquire one later this year.

Most certainly I am. Having used a Sigma 150-600, the internal zoom is something I really like. Rarely comes off the A9. Its real VFM IMHO.

I grew up in Houston, live in the suburbs now and used to own a good slice of acreage in NW Arkansas, more specifically just outside Eureka Springs on top of that, a few years ago I practically lived in Centennial Colorado, just outside of Denver.
I can definitely relate to the humidity and the dry heat.
Even after fifty years of the humidity, I still haven’t gotten used to it.

I can totally relate to this.

I spent 13 long winters in Chicago and never got used to the freezing cold. Every winter was longer than the last.

Then I moved to Dubai and lived there for another 13 years. Never got used to the extreme heat. took me long time to realize deserts are not meant for living.

Last year I moved to Kuala Lumpur, no proper summer or winter here but humidity is starting to get me.

Just returned from a trip along the Gulf coast.
Don't do bierd photography in June in this area. That's known eh, but our trip
in Jan/Feb was postponed by all the others things going on.

Still I managed a few and we got a much needed break from remodeling.

Stonehenge last night. Awesome. Bit tiring but still.......

Was a great night out. Pretty busy too with about a dozen other people there.

Need to go back though. By the time I fancied shooting at 35mm Keiran had the GM on his A6000  So everything i have is 20mm with a slight blending crop :-D
