Update: I had a reverse colonoscopy done yesterday afternoon. Cramping is my biggest issue now and hope it ends soon.

I think they call that an endoscopy...my wife has had a few of them! I hope you are back home and on the road to recovery soon. Being in the hospital is no fun.

ah, yeah, that is a different thing entirely! We were looking at that procedure several years ago, they were recommending it to my wife...thankfully we declined and found a new medication that got her UC into remission.
