Looking forward to a list of specs, but right now not planning to upgrade in any case, unless it closes the sensor when you switch lenses (too early in the morning, can't remember that feature name)...which based on previous history I doubt it will have. Hopefully it won't have a flippy screen and retain the tilt screen.

Personally, I'm not usually a black & white person.

But that, my friend, is bloody lovely!! 8-)

Thanks Lee. I do enjoy black and white photography but can’t commit 100% to shooting it because I also love color.

And here is where the film will shines over a digital, if i look at this image from film say large format or even medium format it will have live-like more, in fact the only time i like black and white from digital is because it is trying to mimic a film B&W, otherwise i will never choose B&W from digital.

Thanks Tareq. I know what you mean.

That is a stunner...lovely tonal range, atmosphere and of course a killer location. Well done man.

Well that is just another one that is a killer, love it when you can get above the clouds.

Thank you Travis!

did you forget what you shot with it...or find it in the sock drawer!

I did that once in college, found a roll of film I had, in a desk drawer, no idea what was on it...it was some recreational activities that got the old wink from the kid working the desk at the photo lab! Being art skool, we all took our film to one place, they were more understanding of some of the things that might turn up!

I was so frustrated that the gimbal was not giving me good results when walking, the bounce was too evident, and I wasn't happy about it. I figured out that I was doing the very first step of the balancing wrong! I was using the DJI video to balance, but when I had it balanced in step one, the camera was in the wrong position! It made a huge difference. I tested it out last night and it was much more stable, and bounce free even when walking down uneven ground.

And a picture of natural crepuscular rays...you just can't create realistic ones in post. The detail captured in 50MP is crazy...I thought 42 was a lot, that little jump makes a big change, and the ISO 100 file is so nice and clean, smooth color transitions...and the DR is good too, pretty much on par with the smaller sensor of the r2, the files hold up like I have come to expect Sony files to hold up to editing.

No, it's fairly recent. Just can't remember, just a bit of everything I expect. Maybe not what was on yours though :D

You’re really tempting me buddy!

I’d have to sell more NFTs to find one but the gas fees (cost of minting and listing) are high right now. By the way, your friend Aaron Reed sold out of his collection on opensea. Made quite a bit of money. I sold my first NFT on Foundation a few weeks ago.

What I am using it for right now is so pedestrian...nothing I am doing can't be done by the r2...but that will change next year. I am just gearing up for it right now before I don't have the opportunity. I was going to convert the r2 to IR, but last night used it for my timelapse images, and they are so much more editable than the ones from the a7III so the r2 might end up on timelapse duty while the a9 gets to do some video and the a1 moves to primary for most everything.

I don't understand NFT..I read Aaron's article on it, and I still don't get it...and I suspect that he sold out of his due to his cult following of collectors who already pay big bucks for his prints. I might be wrong, but I think for a guy like me with no following like him...isn't going to make any money, and I really at the end of the day, still don't get the whole concept anyway...why would someone pay money for a digital version, can they do anything with it? do you get paid in cryptocurrency, real money...many questions.

Totally get your questions because I’m still wrapping my head around NFTs. You get paid in crypto typically Ethereum. One Ethereum is currently worth $3200 but it does fluctuate. The collector gets a digital copy of your image (jpeg). They can create virtual galleries to display their collection or some are displaying them in physical galleries with each eagle displayed on its own screen. Some are reselling the NFT on secondary markets which you get a royalty. Some hold them and for the future. It’s a wild Wild West right now.

Oh I almost forgot. Some artists are providing large physical prints to the buyers as sort of a reward and also incentive.

How do you sell the Etheriums for cash though? One of the YouTube guys was talking about it but it didn't really answer a lot of questions......
