I'm not a fan of sony using cfexpress A. it's so expensive and its not super fast like type B. Other than that, everything else looks good for you :P now the price... ehehe

I hope the CFXA cards come down in price...they are ridiculous...the a1 can maximize them though, I can fill the buffer on Sony Tough G cards....quick.

Probably back at 2,500 as they have the A7RIV/A7S3 at 3,500 and the A9II at 4,500.

Tonight I decided that for volleyball with our current dismal lights, the 85GM wide open is the way to go, if it is too wide, use that sensor to crop in. But the f/1.4 lets me shoot at ISO 3200 and get better shutter speeds for this action.

I finally learned a bit. This is my first "ok" timelapse but now I feel a lot better about doing this more. Shot with the A9 and the 14GM

I'll add a couple of type a's are pushed out from prograde, but I've yet to fill a buffer on UHS-ii's with the a1. A year with the Fuji
X-T4 taught me to pulse machine gun and be more cognizant of the moment I want to capture....plus UHS's 246 gb are pricey enough.

Another busy week for me, camping on a work gathering last weekend at a little place called Monknash, on the south coast of Wales. Amazing place with awesome rock formations. Glad I took the tripod! Definitely a place to return to if I can coordinate sunset, tide times, and availability!

Then a midweek wedding on the Tuesday! Lovely to do something 'normal' - first time for a while. :-)

Lots of gorgeous shots here.
I'm stuck behind my sewing machines again making handbags and wallets.

I’m quite excited by this!
I’ll more than likely get it when it finally arrives, but won’t be an early adopter. The new style body and new processor will seal the deal for me. Taking things like improved focussing for granted. Probably the thing I like least about the A7iii is the LCD, so I’m assuming the iv will get the 1.4m screen, but quietly hoping all new Sony alpha cameras might have the new 2.1? screen in the recently refreshed high res cameras. One can but hope!

Very interesting:

From SonyRumors

I have been told the A7IV has basically the same A7SIII body. It means it also has the same heatsink and a HDMI type A port and can take both UHS-II SD-cards and CF Xpress A cards

Sony A7IV rumored specs:

launch in October (if chip supply permits this)
Newly developed 33MP sensor
4k30 video is oversampled from 7K
5.5 stops of IBIS (+ AS)
Same A7sIII body design
Full size HDMi
UHS-II SD-cards and CF Xpress cards

I'm basically taking the same approach, waiting until other manufactures come onboard, current prices are ridiculous. Honestly I've never been challenged by the buffer using V90 cards but I also try to limit the duration of 30FPS bursts.
