I never even watch a single video or review of the A1 because I know i cannot afford it anyway. Congrats.

It was probably not the best way for me to spend money...but I don't regret it.

How do we all store our gear at home guys?

I'm getting a bit fed up of everything just being in different camera bags. I'd like to just open something/drawers/cabinet & see where everything is without spending 15 minutes searching places!!

Anyone the same? Or is it just me?

Now that I have thinned the gear down, what gets used all the time stays in the 45L. The stuff that doesn't get used much is in a Pelican case.

This is the exact model I have. It’s branded as “Andbon” in this video, but here in the States they’re branded as “Ruggard”. These cabinet are not expensive and there are several sizes to fit anyone’s gear needs, so no excuse not to get one. Highly recommend. :)

That is a nice cabinet for sure!

It's not really a humidity thing here. Where I keep my gear in odd bags and boxes humidity sits around 50-55 on average and we do have a dehumidifier unit in the room anyway. It's more of an organisation thing. I want to shoot night skies, I take lenses out, have to grab the film camera from another big, look for the cable release, grab the MSM, then look for the second ballhead which is maybe in the film camera bag for some reason. Then I want to remove the CPL from the 35GM but I can't find the case for it.....:-D:-D

Just drives me nuts at times!

Still in lockdown, hoping to come out to some degree on Wednesday. We are not allowed to leave the Auckland area and retail is still pretty much closed. Having to close down my business and move part of it to working from home. The lockdowns have finished a lot of businesses off down here. I did manage to get out to one of the local beaches for a shoot yesterday. Karekare Beach on Auckland's west coast. All shots taken yesterday from mid afternoon to around 10pm.

Need to try this combo for BIF someday.
A1+Canon 200/2.8+1.4TC in cropper for an effective 420 and amazingly small/wieldable.
AF is very very fast and I bet in Zone will work a charm.
Got two trips coming up within the next month, may can get a test run in...have to get some keepers with
the 200600 first though :)

I don't quite know how oil gets mixed with these shallow pools of water but I was so happy to have found it.

Definitely inspired by Eric Bennett's book cover.

Perfect Lee!!

Thank you. I do need to reshoot with the 20mm though.

I went out the other night just to try new places and looking at the images they aren't bad seeing as I didn't put much effort into them. I want to retry those too definitely. I might share the current images, not sure yet....

Dry cabinet(s). And a central storage place for bits and pieces.
Humidity is high enough, often enough that a Dry Cabinet is cheap insurance against fungus.
