This one has such a clean and sophisticated look to it. Man, I want one! It's an interesting instrument. I got it mostly because my dreadnought is really loud and I get a lot my practice done early in the morning before everyone wakes up....I find myself mostly playing my electric strat through headphones, but want some acoustic tones too so picked this up. Its got a classic electric strat tone on the bridge pickup and it's pretty cool to monkey around playing different things off the same instrument just by flipping the selector switch. Really fun. focalpointsphoto.com

DavidArbogast Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 07, 2021 10:44 | #51424 It doesn't appear that the a1 has been added to the POTN gear database...is that so? Or perhaps I'm just not seeing it. Maybe no one's requested getting it added? Anyway, it might be helpful we can come up with a list of new Sony gear (lenses and bodies) we need added to the POTN database and can coordinate our update request. David | Flickr

He came at me so quickly that I had just enough time to fire off some shots. All credit goes to the a1 for this sequence. I’m finding Mark Smith’s setup works well. - Alfredo -

It isn't easy getting things pretty even! I've been out again tonight back at that Chapel in the pitch black doing some better (hopefully) lighting of it. Typically I didn't have really clear skies to go with it though! I might edit & post both to compare though. Thanks Lee!

TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 07, 2021 17:00 | #51434 I was out in the field again for the last 3 days. I really wish that I could do that all the time...to be able to just go and be out. On my way to the Smokies on Thursday morning, the weather was awful...rain, overcast and chilly. But that was clearing as I drove north. I re-routed over to Minnehaha Falls, hoping that the rain would make the water flow just right, the leaves all shiny and wet and that there would be no other crazy folks trying to see the falls in bad weather. I was right on all counts. I had it all to myself. At 50 feet tall it is one of the most picturesque falls in Georgia, but also very easy to get to so to have it to myself, was a real treat.
