Just ordered the BenQ screenbar lamp from B&H as a gift from my wife. Looking forward to receiving it.

I’ve been wanting one of those since I seen David’s when he posted his setup photo. Looks like a cool design

Congrats on the new 600 GM Robert!

Beautiful eagle image.
---------------

I don't know if I could commit 100% to black and white photography because I do love color too but man is it rewarding.

FE 16-35 GM

That is a fantastic image Alfredo, such depth!

A heavy fog blanketed the Chattahoochee River Valley tonight and I thought it looked pretty cool while taking the dogs out to pee. This view down my street from the front yard is a black and white image with a little color toning.

Is an original A7 worth anything? A low mileage camera was bought for my wife a few years ago to use in her real estate business. She now uses a RE photographer so it's used very seldom and we have the A7R3 if she needs it. Also, where might me the best place to sell it?

This is a photo taken with it. Pre-sunrise at Fulton Harbor, Tx. Pier left by Hurricane Harvey or what was left of it.

Need some asap advice

Trying to determine if I should go to Mesa Verde for the illumination event.... Rain with rain turning to snow 15mph winds Werth 25mph gusts

Not scared to be cold or wet but shooting across a canyon in low light an I even going to get a pic?..... It's the 7hrs drive and camping effort in questioning

Thoughts

Edit - - - - - sigh going to bag it forecast during event hours is 97% chance of rain snow doesn't start till later I just can't see getting a clear shot from qtr mile + away.

Mark your calendars for next year 2nd Thurs in Dec for next chance maybe do a meet up and I've got other places there to shoot.

Edit #2 - thankfully I didnt go.... they cancelled today.

That's a tough one Paul. If the event is a rare one, I'd say go for it but take the necessary precautions.

A1 owners, are you planning to upgrade the firmware to v1.20?

Anyone updated yet? Any issues? Have downloaded but not updated yet. From the Sony website the upgrade contains:
Improves overall AF performance and stability
Improves operability when using the Remote Camera Tool app
Note: Make sure you have updated the Remote Camera Tool app to the most recent version
Improves eye sensor detection performance with strong light sources, such as sunlight
Improves operational stability when using the Imaging Edge Mobile apps
Improves operational stability when using the SEL100400GM, SEL200600G, or SEL600F40GM lens
Improves the overall stability of the camera
Fixes an issue where a Picture Profile may be applied even though the Picture Profile feature is set to Off
Improves the operational stability of the camera when using Imaging Edge Desktop (Remote) or Imaging Edge Mobile

The A9M2 has a version update to 3.2 with the usual "Improves the overall stability of the camera" and something about FTP...

Nothing issued so far for the A7Riv - would love to see an update that "Improves operational stability when using the SEL200600G."

I want one to convert to IR...but it isn't in the cards for me right now. Like I really need one more thing to carry with me on a trip!
