Thank you sir. I am considering a hike next weekend up to some waterfalls just to get out...color is all gone now but...I got needs!

I've got (at a rough memory count) a good dozen woodland/night sky shots to finish editing & uploading plus the dozen or so film shots I also need to upload & share & I still have the bag packed to go out tomorrow morning - it's currently 10pm here.

Very often I go out & shoot but don't always bother to upload everything.

EDIT - I probably have other shots too, long forgotten about!!

I am actually getting close to caught up...spent the last two nights editing from 6 basketball games this week! Got my first full sequence slam dunk!

I didn't even shoot last week I don't think. I've got two images from Monday night, one of which was the Orion constellation 'test' shot. The other is that windmill from before looking north west with Cygnus in the night sky behind it.

Video is such a whole new dimension, and I have spent the last 2 years working on it and feel like I have a long way to go.

Thanks for the kind words on the image!

I figured out why my videos were stuttering. I had to make some adjustments in my VLC player. Took some time but the videos are playing back normally now.

Here is the first image from yesterday's hike in the snow.

FE 24-105

and this is from last March which is the last time it snowed here.

Great shots and major woot for your 200600.
It is, IMHO, the greatest wildlife lens ever made....and I've shot
quite a few lenses for wildlife pursuits.

First lion I encountered on the Masai Mara, Kenya....just before sunset.

Ah! You made it there!
Wonderful.
I expect many many super keepers from your trip.
When we went s.Africa much was different/no worries about much of anything.
So good on you for making the trip.

Superb with the 'touches' of gold.
HughesNet won't let me 'like' an image.
Just know I do :)

The obligatory Moon shot with a new lens.
Hauled the beast down to the dock and pointed upward.
With the 2.0TC.

Good to hear the A1 update is going fine for you and others.
Please, if a moment, tell me the improvements.
I've not updated yet.

A lot of my shots were a bit hot for this last eagle venue.
I went full manual saying goodbye to Auto-Iso a while back.
When I'm following the bierd in the sky its one thing but as soon as he
drops below the tree line and heads for the water it's another setting entirely.
Sometimes I'm slow to spin the wheel!
Thanks to Sony we have a certain latitude for pulling and pushing and honestly
after shooting eagles for quite a few years I'll gladly sacrifice some white to see
all the detail in the under belly feather array.
