Tonight is my night before surgery (hernias) so my time was very limited today, but I did enjoy a nice visit to your site to take in the slide show. Masterful work my friend. Colorado has been goo to you and you are good for Colorado. Stunning work. :)

All the best with the surgery. You're young and healthy, should be no problem.

I don't know if it has been mentioned here, I don't remember if it has or not...but for the A1...when using Imaging Edge for camera control, we can now touch focus on the device we are using...and it works really good. Now I want to setup the tripod in the yard closer to my bird perches...

Does that mean I can sit inside where it is warm and nab the bierds?

I was happy when I stumbled on a stream frozen over. The ice patterns were so cool. I spent over an hour photographing this area. This section was still in shade and had a nice blue hour color to it.

All handheld since I am still waiting on my RRS L bracket for my a1.

Not why it is but this image seems to just 'pull me in", not sure how else to describe it.

Same individual from last time but not in the best of locations, he likes perching amongst the concrete and iron rubble.

I like that so much I felt the need to name it: Blue Steel. I know, not original, but it fits.

I've missed a couple of sunrises full of similar colour. Well, I say missed. I did see them, from the workshop about an hour after I've started work!!

My apologies. But the first of the cheap film shots.......

I'm guessing with the 50/1.9
