A blog post on your ICM work would be awesome too (or a how to of sorts even better :-P )

Great suggestion Eddie. Will add it to my list. Thank you.

Travis, do you follow Diego? His new video from the Redwoods is excellent.

I had not seen this channel, will check it out momentarily!

EDIT:
Wow...he is even more minimal than I am! I like the style, let it be about the place and how awesome it is, allow the viewer to experience that. Thanks for the recommendation.

I hope everyone celebrates the incoming new year in an enjoyable manner.

On a recent camping trip we tried out new electric bikes and they are great. The pedal assist helps us old folks while still letting us exercise. I carried the a7R3 with the 100-400 slung over my shoulder since I had no place to carry it yet. Heavy but wasn't going to try to carry the 200-600. I'm currently working on a basket made to carry the big lens to remedy this situation. Would like a way to put a short mount up front but that is down the road. I will update the basket fab when I'm done. A couple of shots below of the eagle I got fairly close to. It knew I was lurking but with no noise, didn't appear alarmed. Also a shot of the bikes.

On another note, I received the Godox/Litemons lights today, 2 of them. I'll let y'all know how they work out for me.

I thought you might enjoy it. His style has evolved to what you see now. I really dig it for the reasons you mentioned. That intro series was so good. Not sure how he got such smooth motion. Do you think that’s all done in post? Specifically the scene looking up at the redwood and tilting down. Makes me motivated to get a fluid head.

It looks like gimbal footage to me, or maybe even slider.

Awesome that you were already following him. Yeah IG algorithm sucks. Some days I just want to quit but I’m finding some great photographers on there that keep me motivated. It’s clear that IG does not care about photographers. I don’t see that changing in 2022. Twitter was going great back in March and April but then NFTs took and it has not been the same.

The ads are so bad, and it just pushes REELS and Story too much. I just want to browse nice photography, from the people I follow...not force my way through so many ads and crap.

I been close to getting an Ebike, but due to my travels via car so often, went the scooter route. I can fit in the back seat….. will reconsider e bikes when I get a truck and my kids older. They are fun to ride for sure.

These fold as well which helps with transporting. A new experience for us.

I kinda miss my old Xperia phone. I definitely preferred the display to my IphoneX

the 4k 120hz is so nice when watching videos :)
camera is decent but not mind blowing. It does good with food shots though hehe.

Well if weight is a big consideration for you the the V2 of this lens is just the ticket, i was actually surprised on how light it felt in the hand considering it's size.

Mine came few days late, courtesy of UPS. to be honest I was meaning to cancel my order but things got so busy I didn't have time to think about it and then it arrives. Of course I had to take open it and check it out. it's noticeable lighter and much better than V1. And now I can't return it haha. it's a keeper for sure, need to find a buyer for the old.

To be honest, I'm not sure if it's the fine photography or just that great looking food that makes me like those pictures. :)

Suggestions welcome.
