Love it Gary. So easy & quick to set up & use. Not really suitable for big lenses & deep space (although some people manage it - I've not yet tried anything like that) but for wider 'landscape' images it's awesome.

Had a very productive shooting day yesterday, including my first "MIF" Mink in flight shot  This guy walked n my direction until he was about six feet away, realized I was in his path and scurried at full speed past me.

Starting to think about Death Valley already. Delta keeps changing my flight...which keeps changing our plans...the whole trip has to be re thought now, we won't arrive in time to utilize the original route and schedule...but dunes will be the primary target.
So I am going through and looking at dunes from past trips...

Hop on an Emirates flight to dubai, will give you dunes everyday and 3 times on a Sunday! ;-)a

A bit stumped, strange thing happened a couple days back. Was out shooting and after about 300 shots it switched over to the no: 2 card. I started with both cards empty. On the no: 2 card it wouldn’t show images on playback. The display said unable to display. By switching off the camera reseating the card it would then show playback but again after recording shots it wouldn’t play back. I had not lost any images. Have reformatted both cards in camera and will monitor.

I had that happen once, then I realized that I had the Playback set to Slot 1. On my cameras the setting is on Playback Menu 3 of 4. Even though the files roll over to the number 2 slot, the Playback doesn't.

Thanks Tim. Everyday is a school day! I just checked and mine is showing playback slot 2. Could be it got forced into 2. So when the recording rolls over to slot will have to change the playback manually.

Awesome. A lot of the guys down here are now using them and the results are stunning. I'm looking to hire one first for a look.

Which one did you get please?

Lovely sunset in Auckland tonight. Love it when the lights come on in the buildings.

Picking 20 pieces to represent your work for a month in a solo show is not easy...I have been laboring over this for 3 months but it is crunch time and I have to send stuff off for printing and mat orders this week...
