Great video Travis, really enjoyed watching it.

Sometimes I get an idea in my head, and I will become consumed by it. It is all I can think about, it wakes me up in the middle of the night, it makes it hard to focus on anything else.

This video is one such project. It is to date, my most detailed and planned video I have done. It is a HUGE departure from everything else on my channel. It is not content...it is meant to be enjoyed on a big screen, with some dedicated time. Just under 6 minutes. But it will go by about as fast as the Corvette did on the backroads!

I hope you enjoy. I have put so much into this, a couple months of planning, scripting, hours finding just the right music, timelining, storyboards and then an 11 hour production day...all leads to this. It isn't 100% perfect, but the little things taught me something, and if I ever do something else like this...I will know. It is all a learning process.

Thanks. And yes there are but it's too easy to shoot them & church spires!

I've a few in the pipeline but I am trying to avoid them a little bit too.

I am enjoying this offshoot series, very graphic and the black and white conversions are on point.

Thanks Travis.

I'm starting to learn the skies & clouds that work how I want them to & the ones that don't so I'm getting somewhere with it at least. Still a bit of experimenting though when I go out but that's fine.

Jon's post reminded me to watch it too. Very nice video work :)

I'm shooting with a Sony A7r4 camera and processing with LR & PS, with limited skills, and have a question.

When looking at pictures taken at 61mp they all or most seem just a bit soft but if I zoom in they get tact sharp. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong while processing the pictures? I really noticed it when playing with making a composite, example below. Added the faces to the jail but I'm sure you folks can tell what was done.

Thanks,
Craig

I feel you used 3 strobes.

Can you post the stage image after you answer it so i can see what did you use for that reflection and background.

I used two strobes. One camera left at about an 80 angle from the camera and one camera right bounced off the ceiling at about a 45 degree angle.

Got rid of my Christmas Tree last night at a friend's farm. A good supply of whiskey and trees kept us toasty during the 20 degree evening. :-)

Travis, as much as I could dream of a sports type car the dream just doesn't jell with
my reality.
Anyway I don't think I ever put up a pic of my retirement present. More tool than passion.
Poof is still working (marry a younger woman and piggyback on her insurance!), but this time of
year I have to drive her to the gate (about a mile) where we leave her car (Subaru). The country plows
up to the gate....on my side of the gate we're on our own.
The snow was 8-10 inches and just out of the Subaru's comfort zone. The 4R is good to 12-13.
