This will be my best shot of 2022. I hope not but this one has that feeling about it.

WOW! Going to be very hard to top that!

I meant your new 'my' hawk as I know you're getting there with that one too. Anyway your new one is a smart looking bird as all buteos are and I can see it won't be long before you are wowing us with images of him/her. A fair proportion of food I put out goes to corvids too, we have magpies crows and ravens but mostly it's the magpies that steal the food as they are really fast in and out. I have a whole bunch of stuff that would be good were it not for the food in claw or beak too! I wish there were closer because I find them a really attractive bierd and love their antics. They are a beautiful bird, not just the plain black and white that most would say if asked!

LeeRatters Cream of the Crop More info | Jan 23, 2022 15:07 | #52650 Eddie wrote in post #19334939 I like this one again Lee. In other news I eventually tried out the Kamber 40 today after your recommendation. Really liked it. Done 12 miles today up a mountain and back with camera in the ICU and the tripod attached plus 3 litres water, food, jet boil, waterproofs, warm layers etc so bag felt heavy before I started walking so I was a bit apprehensive but it was really comfortable and the weight transferred nice onto my hips. Getting the camera out was working well to with the back entry so exactly what I was after. Weather wasn’t great so no real shots as such but good trial run. Thanks Eddie. Glad you got on okay with it. It's still my go-to bag for sure. Does get weighty though shooting night skies with the A7, 20G, 35GM, MSM tracker/ballhead, dew heater, powerbank, film camera & lenses, two tripods, lights, flask.....
