Working to catch wing blur with an otherwise sharp bird. Never see a hummingbird wing not blurred if it's flying. It's a fine line with the shutter speed.

I was doing a similar experiment last night with volleyball...unsuccessfully...probably need to keep at it, but I got frustrated and went back to 1/800 since I was just getting trash shots. I need to find the sweetspot that has the player sharp and the ball in motion. I think down to 1/400 or 1/500 might work after looking at what I was doing last night. 1/125 was too slow. Just trying to put some motion into it, but it is so chaotic and unplanned, random so it makes it really hard to do that. But for the rest of the games this year, I am going to experiment.

Very clear and clean image, great subject isolation on that background...

Sony a100...or Sony A1 and you found a way to fool the system...

Thanks Travis, the trees behind are a long way off, ever changing background is nice. You sussed me out, A1 and a way round the system.

cheers! :)

An actual Sony image rather than video footage form the drone which is what it's been from me lately!!

Shot on the A7 in a typical landscape style with the 35GM at f/1.4 ;)

Rescued a puppy from a local shelter. Got some shots in our apartment complex's fenced in dog park area. The Sigma 105mm on the A7R3 struggled to keep focus with her puppy energy, but definitely got a few keepers!

Any guesses on what her mixed breed might be? We ordered the Embark DNA test but haven't had a chance to send it out yet.

Wow Ben, the bokeh and overall rendering from your Sigma 105mm is gorgeously rich!

Tonight I took my criminally underutilized Baths 85mm out for a spin. I'm going to be sure to give that lovely lens a lot more use in the coming days.

Mini 2. I was tempted with the 3, but thought best part of £1,000 on my first drone wasn't clever just incase I didn't use it, didn't enjoy it, crashed it......

Sort of regret that now because I love it lol

Mini 2 is fine though for video, just wish it had more than 12 megapixels for images.

Oh right.... I thought the 3 was more megapixels? If its the same then less reason to upgrade lol

Thank you. It's always been a dream lens of mine, and since getting it, it's definitely one I'll never sell and rarely stop down.

It has the Bayer sensor which you can make it take 48mp photo's. A lot of the reviewers seem split on using this function.
