I love the autumn leaves backdrop in the first image; it's super rich and I also really like that bird too. Eastern Phoebe?

All right...I have a question for the photoshop gurus...how was the floor texture added to this...to make it look like a wood gym floor? I know this gym, it is our school gym, and it does not look like this in real life. It has to be a texture, but how...
This is not my photo...but I am doing our Varsity photos for the school, and I don't know how they added that texture and made it look so good.

Putting myself in your situation: I could manage an editing task like that on a single photo or two but it would be way too time-consuming if I were editing several Varsity photos.

It’s the wood floor perspective-matching that is the most challenging. Photoshop has great tools for that, but it’s all too likely to be too tediously slow an effort that you’d have to do for every single image unless you kept your camera/tripod unmoved for all captures. Once the perspective-matching is done, merging the new texture into the shadows and reflections of your photo isn’t nearly as time-consuming a task.

You are thinking the same way I am...to do one or two sure...but all of them...but somehow the last guy did. It's not perfect, but it's plausible.

There’s so much good stuff on YouTube now, and on whatever topic interests you it’s possible to find channels that have high quality video work/editing on that subject. I find myself losing hours on there when I should be doing something more productive :-P

My wife was spending too much time complaining about youtubers and too much time on the platform....

I had a secret channel, let her know about it, now she's a big youtuber herself, and I'm still a small youtuber :p

not much time to watch videos when you're busy creating them, problem solved.

Cheers Eddie. IQ is a bit average from the Mini 2 but it's okay resized for Web. Conditions were good though.

Have a google and see what the best aperture for stills is on it. I was surprised to find out that f/2.8-f/4 was best for the mavic 2 pro. I’ve always been stopping down to f/5.6-f/8 where I can, applying the same logic as a normal camera lens but apparently that’s not the case with my drone. I need to buy some ND filters for it to try photography with the wider apertures to see. Appreciate that sensor size will be smaller in the mini too which could be part of What you are seeing.

Edit - not that I seen anything wrong with your image - just because you mentioned it there

Edit 2 - ignore all that. Just googled it myself and realised the mini 2 has a fixed aperture!

 Yes, fixed aperture on the Mini 2 - f/2.8

f/1.7 on the Mini 3.

I have Kase filters on mine for video but starts at ND8 and I often think a 4 would be handy for sunrise.
