I don't use mine enough to sell it for the upgrade. It does all I need it to do anyway. I know some are wanting the VC of the lens but I'm good with the IBIS.

Funny enough I’m more inclined to sell my due to how little I use mine so I can make the most of the resale value :D

Very interesting stuff. I wonder how they will improve on the 16-35mm. Looking forward to seeing what the new cameras are all about.

I’m guessing slight bit smaller, better AF and sharper. Probably look a bit more like the newer lens designs.

New lens, picked up a Sammy 135 from Amazon Warehouse. (Samyang 135 F1.8 beside the Samyang 135 F2)

Sucks though because I thought I got it at a sweet price until I saw the front element. The scratch does not effect the image at all, but I noticed that for some reason my Sony A7III is banding with this lens on. I have a lens dock, but there is no point in holding onto this unless. Returning this one for a another (fresh) copy or something else.

My thoughts too on the 16-35. It’s already amazing. It’s small too being almost the same size as the f/4. Unless it’s an AF improvement but with it being a landscape lens for me the AF isn’t an issue as I mainly manual focus

care to share some details? I need to do some servicing on my PC, it needs a new CPU cooler.

Specs:

Mobo: ASUS Z790 Creator

CPU: Intel i7 3700K

CPU Cooler: Noctural NH-U12A

PSU: Corsair RMX1000

GPU: RTX 4090 founders edition

RAM: Corsair Vengence 32GB (2x16) 6000MHZ

Top Fans: Corair LL140

Rear Exhaust Fan: Noctura NF A12x25

Front Fans: Thermaltake Plus 12

I'm getting bottlenecked by ram running photshop benchmarks so I have a 64gb en route. Since you do video, maybe look into a water cooled system. My gpu has it's fans venting heat into my cpu cooler (see photo 2) so its running really hot doing cinebench tests. Temps are fine for gaming and photos though but cranking the processor and gpu at the same time generates a lot of heat

Diablo IV got me into the rog ally, which got me into PC gaming again.

I need a new desktop because Apple is slowly killing support of intel macs and it runs like crap these days. So I built a desktop. That's what I tell myself anyway. Has nothing to do with gaming :-).

But it does fly through lightroom and photoshop for sure.

how's d4 running on the ally?

Gorgeous looking PC! I wanted to get that case as soon as I saw it, but I have no need for it. fine looking piece of furniture :D

nice and clean build too, and I like how you are using simple RGB as a lighting source.

hows your d4 experience? want to add bn?

Lol man I hadn't put much time into D4. Been playing cyberpunk mostly right now since I hadn't finished it on consoles when I got a game progress killing bug

Had a week in Greece recently. Had a really good time doing not a lot! Managed to wander down to the beach fairly early one morning and that was about it! Here are a few from the beach, one of a swallow (?) in flight with a 50mm lens, and the last one of me failing during our big air lilo jump family competition!!

Ive yet to play Cyberpunk, got the game but havnt open lol. Just havnt found the time for it, but my time has been consumed by d4. I hate and like it, its fun to play, but I hate that they keep changing things around and jerking players. They had a good start, but they messed it up, no other to blame but themselves.

Another trip to Tawhai Falls in the Mt Tongariro National Park. This was the waterfall where they filmed Gollum's Pool in the Lord of the Rings films. Great location. Getting into black and white long exposures at the moment.
