Carlo, really outstanding wedding work. So many 10 star images you've given the couple for life.

Thank you Robert!

For this shot of my favourite hot sauce I tried to use an incense stick to create smoke on the peppers and the hot sauce bottle. Didnt turn out exactly as i had imagined due to it being trickier than I thought to capture but relatively pleased with the result.

Think the night flash photography works better to pull the details out of petros.

Need to think about getting like 3 Gotox 350s and a controller to keep things light but get better than these

Nice photo and really cool product photos in general lately Eddie.

I think its really interesting that you're such a fan of Cholula on the other side of the pond. That's a distinctly Mexican hot sauce that I thought was more of a regional thing here in the southwest US.

Thanks Carlo. Cholula original and chipotle are the only two flavours available here (I believe you have a few other flavours?) but being a fan of hot and spicy food I always try the various hot sauces the supermarkets sell however after trying dozens of them this one is my favourite. Its readily available but I dont know anyone else that eats it so not sure how popular it is here (or known)

Nice shots. The game between Houston and Memphis in 2015 was one I'll never forget. We suck again and you guys will probably beat us again this year.

Great shot Eddie! I love that stuff. I keep a bottle at home and at work! I like the original the best.

Nicely done Eddie. Sometimes it might help to photograph smoke on a black background separately and add it to the image. Here's an example where I added one of my smoke images in screen blend mode to hide the black.

Thats much more effective! I didnt even think of doing that and had it in my head I had to capture it all in the one setup. Nicely done!

And unless you want to challenge yourself, you could also use a "smoke" brush as well. There are a lot of free brushes to choose from I'm sure.

I was trying to avoid using a PS brush. Kind of like the challenge of trying to capture for real. I just attempted some smoke photos since I had the incense. Will post a couple shortly. Another learning experience though as realised my black background was too close to the flashes and was reflecting a bit.
