Now that my wife and I may be losing our healthcare plan for 2018, I’ll definitely be sticking with those meh 2-minute walk easy-shooting waterfalls! That one is a real beauty though. Amazing part of the world you live in. :)

Thanks Vinz....just remember wherever I go in my part of the world I have some kind of heat in a chest harness and it ain't for the critters :)

Well worth the effort imo. Not sure if you already have something you use but I use ortlieb dry bag liners (just in case you need something to put the camera gear in when crossing the river). Our military use them too and they are great quality at reasonable prices. Totally waterproof when sealed properly

Thanks Eddie. So much true beauty IF you can physically get there, I'm no spring chicken but my insurance is paid up and no kids around to care if I end up in an obituary!

Another from the Boise river on Sunday. All detail seems to turn to mush on the forum. Full res on Flickr.

Nice shot Cory. The difference is staggering, hopefully the bigger max size when it comes in solves this

I have this constant ad that shows up for me for a kickstarter item. I finally looked at it, it looks like the exact way I use my belt bag with strap:

only difference is that it's much more fashionable than my equivalent think tank body bag. Really like the look of the bag, but I must resist ;-)a

Wow, very nice Vinz. Did you use anything to add light to the front of the lipsticks?

I'm curious about something. Notice how each case appears to be progressively turned out slightly more from the center one? I think that's due to the short distance the camera is from them. I wonder if you used a longer focal length so the camera is further away, they would appear to be more parallel to each other?

Thanks for adding the BTS images too.

i didn't add front light as it gave me less contrast last night.

I will try other lens. This is the only macro I have. a SEL 30mm F3.5 that's why i used the A6000 to get a 24mp.

Thanks for your input and again for showing your setup to us.

Well, it doesn't have to be a macro lens. I use my FE 90 a lot but could just as easily use my FE 85GM.

EDIT: I just checked and I have used my FE 85GM for this type of shot. I used it recently on the glass knives and the green and blue glasses shots.
