I get where you're coming from, but really, all I want is something that will handle focus stacking for me, so I can rip off shots in quick succession as the light is rapidly changing. I don't need anything to tell my how to compose my shots, what aperture to use, what shutter speed to use, etc. I've got a pretty good handle on all of that. VanillaImaging.com

Getting back to traditional workflow, just because I get more out of it...I will still use it for interior architecture, because I see that as a place where it really makes sense, especially after I have been editing the last few nights working on multiple frames to blend into one image...but overall, I want to be the one to make the decisions...not be influenced by AI and the way everyone else does it... Who says all those other AI tools need to be used? My cameras have an auto mode, but I don't use it. Nobody denigrates the use of modern cameras because they have automatic modes. You simply choose not to use them, while taking advantage of all the other things the camera has to offer. VanillaImaging.com

It's funny. There is one area here that is well known and every time I'm out there there's a group of photographers all stacked on top of each other, each with their camera about waist high aiming down at this flat area. Why they don't look for something else to shoot is beyond me. I walk a few feet away, drop into a gap in the reef and end up with this. ![]() I agree. I understand wanting to take your turn at doing something that has been shot a million times but it’s more fun to look around and get another perspective. You can probably go find their shots in a hundred places but yours will be unique. Great job! Canon EOS M6 Mark II - EOS R5
