Thank you David and Gene for the advice. Did you own the 17 or 24mm TS-E?
I’ve owned both. The best one, by a good margin, is the 24mm. It’s sharper, less CA, and has an 82mm for easy filter usage. Both are excellent though.

My ILC-50, think thank digital holster 5/10, they really cant take much bulk at all. When I have my neckstrap, I'm either carrying bare camera or think tank retrospective 7. For the most part, I simply go paracord for bare basics drop prevention. The diamond knot has served it's purpose for many years, been using the same cord since my canon years! EDIT: I notice this one doesnt use a diamond, maybe only half diamond. I do have another on my R2 that uses a full diamond, that specific knot does not come loose. http://www.animatedknots.com/lanyard/index.php?Reflection=L&LogoImage=LogoG..&Website=&Categ=decorative Hosted photo: posted by Charlie in ./showthread.php?p=18523547&i=i73938019 forum: Sony Digital Cameras Hosted photo: posted by Charlie in ./showthread.php?p=18523547&i=i225262898 forum: Sony Digital Cameras Thank you very much! flickr

I researched NAS setups and what-not but came up with something pretty simple but with a lot of redundancy. focalpointsphoto.com

I finally got around to putting my backup system together.... I researched NAS setups and what-not but came up with something pretty simple but with a lot of redundancy. Basically my current catalog is sitting on a 1tb external SD (faster and less prone to failure). My personal raws and client raws being currently worked on sit there. I have a separate 4tb USB HDD that holds my older 'archived' photos. I also use this drive as a backup drive for my 1TB SSD, using Carbon Copy Cloner. On top of that, I subscribed to backblaze, and am using that as a cloud based backup of my 4TB HDD. The subscription is a very reasonable $5 a month, for unlimited storage....cheaper and more secure than having a separate physical drive. So I have a double redundancy of my 'current' files, and a cloud based back-up of my archived drive. I like the idea of having both a physical backup and a cloud based backup. On one hand I'm covered if either one of my physical drives die, and on the other hand, I'm covered if backblaze goes belly up or decides to screw me. sounds pretty inexpensive, I wonder if you can backup a NAS? I could theoretically build a very big NAS and have the whole thing backed up, and could house different user workspaces.... Say you accidentally delete a folder from your 4TB without realising, it will then delete off the cloud will it not? If you notice that aftervthe fact is there any way of looking back into an older archive to recover those files? Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

If you notice that aftervthe fact is there any way of looking back into an older archive to recover those files? Not trying to be negative by the way! Just wanting to make sure you have your bases covered! So I looked into this...with the basic versions cloud based backup services you either have unlimited version periods and limited storage capacity, or limited version periods and unlimited storage capacity. Otherwise you end up paying a lot more. focalpointsphoto.com

But there's nothing sensitive being backed up. They're just photos...I'm not photographing anything risqué and a good number of them will be shared online anyway. focalpointsphoto.com

Always had one on my 1 Series camera’s over the years. I find they work well. Not sure if they still make them. I have a few versions. Good thing my wife is very talented as they are not easy to install. I bring up the diagram on Google and she does it, then adjusts it for me.
