Love the first one most Vinz.
On the bird, most (read Davids opinion) wouldn't call a Starling a great catch!
But wish me luck....headed out for another weekend trying for a Short-eared.
I've got two days to get the camper ready for travel on Friday.
Put the 16-35/4 on the FM buy/sell. Collected dust post 12-24 and 24-105.

I hope you didn’t misinterpret my disdain for the feathered rat as dislike of your excellent capture. Even a picture of a rat can be great. :)

No, I'm good :)
A rat? Hmmm. I'm willing to try....squirrel is really close. I shoot them all the time.

David , I use a programme called pdfxchange viewer (PC). It allows you to add text boxes etc to PDFs. It also has a text select tool if the pdf is editable. If it’s not editable you can add a white text box over the text and then type and it looks like you have edited. I think there’s a free version. If you can hold off until tomorrow I can send you the pro version

https://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer (external link)

Edit - i see on the site it’s been replaced by pdf xchange editor which I don’t have but the pro version of viewer seems to have the same tools

Thanks Eddie. I got my form filled out using the online pdfescape. I don’t wanted to edit a previously filled-out form and just change the date, but ended up just filling out a blank form from scratch.

Nonetheless I do need to figure out a solution so I can quickly get edit the half dozen, or so, PDFs that I send out each year. So, I will have a look at pdf-xchange.

Great shot of a beautiful and clever bird. Some places have Glossy Starlings (e.g. Africa) - in winter here on the Somerset Levels we have a million of them from Eastern Europe/Russia roosting in the reed beds people travel great distances just to watch them coming in and to film their murmurations. They are also great at getting leatherjackets from under the lawn [here “Leatherjackets” is the colloquial term used for Crane Fly Larva]

Lol they look like xbox avatars.

First rookie mistake though was shooting in the middle of the day. That's portrait photography 101 and has nothing to do with retouching.

How do you guys focus your 16-35 lenses for landscapes? I have traditionally used the hyperfocal distance, but I’m not sure if this is the best method. I usually shoot at f/8 or f/11. It’s specifically the 16-35 f/4 zeiss.
