I was lazy and just took a single image.

As you may recall, I didn't care for the fit of the cheap "L" bracket and decided on the Kirk bracket instead. It works and fits well. To solve the battery door issue, the Kirk plate is short on the bottom and there is a slot for connecting a strap. That way the camera can hang straight down with one strap end connected high and the other low.

Yah that’s what i was asking about. I guess it’s the best option for now. Thanks.

Not had a chance to really put the cheap FE28-70 to use yet......!!!

Here's a few 100% snapshot crops though at various focal lengths & camera/subject distances all at f/6.3 apparently...... Looking at the shed hook & the rear light on the car it doesn't look bad for handheld & low shutter speeds with OSS switched on.

David A / Carlo? / Alfredo (edit - Travis?) - if my memory hasn’t failed me you guys are all shooting with the Fe35 1.4. I don’t think I’m gping to risk another 16-35 GM (can’t be bothered with the hassle) so thinking I may finally try the 35 1.4 (that may be hassle too but I’m due a bit of luck). Feel free to talk me out it or tell me why it’s a great idea. Was thinking of waiting to see what sigma do which is the other consideration I have in my mind.

Thinking small and light walkaround is my 28/55 And my no compromise walkaround kit could be the FE35/B85

For sigma? I’ve got money burning a hole in my pocket :-P

Can’t decide between 16-35/4, 24-70GM, FE35 or sigma future lenses

I’m ok in the 85mm department. I thought recently I wanted to sell the batis and buy the FE85 just because I liked the physical look of it better, it had the eye af button and it was a tad smaller but it didn’t work out financially after selling fees. I’m glad I didn’t now as every time I shoot with it I love the images so don’t want to give it up. Ive also got the 90 for Macro (bugs me that I have two focal lengths so close but that’s just the way my mind goes with these things). So long story short the GM85 doesn’t enter my radar much but it does look awesome. Was it a 35 rental you had recently?
