For me it's definitely my passion but I'm also trying to grow my side business. That's why I'm trying to get more exposure over on IG. I don't edit my images to match what's trendy (ie teal and orange). I just post what I consider worth posting and hope it resonates with my followers and others.

need to follow more, also sponsor some stuff, like/comment more, so others are interested to look back, also correct hashtags

Attempted to add a cinematic mood to this street image of a local bar. Definitely different processing than my usual style.

I really like the look and feel of this photo! I think you accomplished your intention! Only if it were raining and Gene Kelly came dancing through with his umbrella! :-)

are you photographing for Likes&Shares or it's your passion?
to gain more IG likes: you need to follow more, sponsor your posts, shoot trendy things whats most like. add landscape and half naked big boobed girl with correct # - question which will gain more likes, followers? :D

If I would follow 1000 people, I can imagine how my timeline would look like, do I need it - no. following close friends and profiles i like, enjoy

IG is so active that you can follow loads of accounts that post photos worth viewing. I culled crappy posters, random businesses, and annoying personal trainers posting workout photos a while back and am more selective about who I follow now. I still follow a good amount of people.

IG definitely has a better community and more diverse set of photographers than flickr, which I like.

After I had a client cancel on me yesterday afternoon, I put away the A7R2 and out with the RX10 IV for some more BIF photos. I’m think I’m beginning to get the hang of it. Seems that if I use Large-Lock on focus setting, I get many more keepers. Here’s a couple.

Ok, NOT a BIF photo from me with the RX10 IV. Captured this yesterday morning while driving by a nearby country field. I’m really beginning to enjoy this camera for an all around, day-to-day shooter. Can’t wait to take a few trips!

Haha, yeah I love your idea of having rain in the shot. Thank you. This was a practice run for the weekly theme which is cinematic.

Thanks Will! It’s an exposure and time blend to bring in lights of the buildings (blue hour) into my base layer which was a long exposure capture for the sunset.

The closest I've come to being happy with a camera bag is the Burton Zoompack. Fits several lenses, two bodies, snacks, two tripods, ipad etc. I also like the Thule Covert. Other than that, I take an arcteryx hiking pack, put the camera and lesnes in various lowepro cases and stuff them in it.

I'm disappointed in DxO PhotoLab. I am having issues exporting a TIFF file from DxO PL back into LR. LR can't render the preview upon import. I hit import anyway and then get an error message saying the file is damaged or corrupt. Anyone run into this issue? I tried exporting from PhotoLab to directly to my hard drive and then have LR import the image but I get the same issue.
