Wow: Voigtlander 110mm APO 1:1 Macro and a 21mm lens as well!

The 65mm was a little weird FL for me, but I’m interested to see the 110mm images.

Just amazing the number of awesome native lenses Sony shooters can buy these days.

Wow! I’m interested in the CV 110mm lens. You’re right that we have some great choices. I’m tempted to get the Batis 135 but will see how the Voightlander 110 performs.

CV 21, 40, 110 would make a hell of a travel kit.

I'm interested with the 21 purely on size, looks small and light. Heck, CV 21, Fe 35 f2.8, and some form of 85-100, and you can make a super small kit.

Now that’s interesting! It bugs me that my FE90 is so close to my B85 so the APO 110 might be a better option for my sanity

Has anyone tried samyang/rokinon’s new AF lenses? I’m looking into their 35 f2.8 or 35 f1.4

actually I don't regret that I didn't wait for Sigma 35mm e-mount version and pulled a trigger for Samyang AF 1.4/35 (thought Sigma would make new e-mount lenses, not adapt DSRL ones, but actually I understand them)
recently had an opportunity to get an FD 2.8/300 L (was looking for it some time) for a sweet price - crappy exterior, no lens hood, some light cleaning marks on front glass, but for 466€ with shipping I can live with. waiting for arrival.

Does the watermark HAVE to be smack dab in the center of the photo? Such beauty marred in the exact place your eyes want to go.

well i thought i decided on the fe 35 1.4 and fe 85 1.8

but then i thought what about the sigma 35 1.4..

did some weight and size comparisons..

and then i noticed the fe 35 has an aperture ring ON the lens..

the 85 1.8 of course doesn't have it.. BUUUUT... the 85 1.4 gm does !!

:cry::cry:

i thought it was an easy choice between the 2 85's .. but now how much is an aperture ring worth to me?

I LOVE lenses with aperture rings on them

Those aperture rings are great when shooting portraits so certainly you're manipulating the aperture a lot.

I was killing the ambient using shutterspeed but then as i shoot i noticed i have to increase my strobe power. and i didn't like it. i don't like flashy shots so instead of increasing the power of the strobe, i increased the ISO. I think my speedlight(OCF Godox V860II) power was only 1/16

I used this modifier. I love it. Very light and the fastest to setup.
