You don't actually import/edit all that though surely.....? Or are you tethered or something and just keep the ones you want?

He's gone AWOL

Lee I import each and everyone and then go through Bridge and star the potential ones.
Then go through each 5 star image and look for possibles.
Out of the 1400+ there were 20 ish that made muster.

Couple of weeks ago we brought back gigabites from Florida. Out of over 5+ gigs of files only 200 shots I would Flickr,,,,,,,,most of the problem is the a9's 20fps.

So archives and archives of thousands of images......and some days when bored/snow and ice deep/thick outside I go through them. On each trip we by an external hard drive
just for that trip. Poof and I've done 124 trips together. The number of files is crazy....so I go through them, sometimes years after the fact...and processing/software advances.

I could probably find another hundred from that trip but I get bored and move on.

Dusting off some kit I haven't used for six months, and thought I'd check if my TechArt Pro was still functional. Stuck on an old Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm f1.7, and opened the front door to go out. Standing on the step was this little guy! No idea what he wanted. Couple of quick shots, and he was off.
F5.6, 1/100, ISO 200. Heavily cropped.

@Carlo...that looks like a pretty nifty system. I’d love to see some more shots. Does it work as easy as the video makes it look?

Oh yeah. The modifiers slap on really quickly and will hold in place. I got it mainly for the gel kit because I hate jacking with gels in the field. But the modifiers are really fast and convenient too

I keep eye-balling that MagMod kit at my local camera store. YOu photos make me want to take a little closer look next time I'm there.

Yeah I'll take more test shots over the next couple of days. I'm particularly interested in how this magbounce works when you take it off camera. They say it can match the quality of a medium umbrella. Pretty big claim, but really nice if true

Well crap on a roll.
Shooting with the NEX-5 led me to find my old SEL 30mm macro. Another gem for size/weight. Of
course it doesn't compare to the FE90 but could sub out the FE50 and give it a run for the money and it
focuses way way faster.

I don't think the bokeh is bad either.

It is a silicone-rubber type material. Thin and flexible. Will cover many of our smaller lenses like the FE 50 macro.

While I'm at it here is a shot of the left side of my EveryDay backpack holding the a9+100-400GM+2.0TC

Never tried Lumenzia. I just purchased Raya Pro 3 today though. Going to investigate if RP3 could replace SR app in my workflow. I’m wondering if using standard NDs in combination with luminosity masks and brackets could give me the low noise long exposures I love from SR

just a lot more work, and time shooting....bracketing 3 or 4 minute exposures is not always possible, in fading or gaining light conditions.

I’m ok with Sony no longer supporting their ridiculous and painful-to-use app store.

I am not ok with Sony failing to implement important advanced functionalities like Smooth Reflections, Timelapse, Intervalometer, and bulb timer into their latest camera’s functions.

Wow! Fairplay. I couldn't do that myself for sure!

I'm the opposite way and lately have gone even further to the other extreme!! Heck, I've only got the one SD Card and I can't even tell you how many gb it is...... We went out for a snow walk on Sunday through some local woods..... Came back with 3 edited shots (to share) out of a total of 7 the remaining 4 are either just for personal or will be binned in the next few days when I go back to them......
