Loving the textures and tones in this shot Alfredo. It looks awesome.

As an experiment, I think I was able to straighten your cropped image above by correcting both verticals and horizontals.

Thanks Gene. I would like to see your version. I tried the 8 point perspective correction as well as the rectangle correction in ViewPoint3 and still couldn't quite get it looking right. Whenever I got the vertical and horizontal lines correct, the image looked pinched on the bottom although the lines were straight. Very weird.

"Corner Office"

Loxia 85

Note: This was more than 50% crop from a larger image. I couldn't get the verticals corrected in the original so I went with this abstract type image.

The abstract works well for me.

Not taken with a Sony camera, but a picture of me using my Sony. Personally I found it pretty amusing.

I too am curious about this. I've been contemplating replacing my 1Dx with an A9 and transitioning over to native lenses, but AF performance still worries me a bit, that and my wifes inevitable reaction when a new camera shows up. :-D

I told my GF I was buying a new camera. 1 month after the purchase I bring out 2 cameras and she says YOU HAVE 2 CAMERAS??

Ha, ha:-P I can pull that off with little things, but not a camera body. If a new plate filter showed up in my bag she wouldn't notice, but when a new tripod showed up she noticed.

Maybe we can walk up together IF you don't mind a snails pace :)

I can do that...my dad is usually with me, and he doesn't walk very fast.

I told my GF I was buying a new camera. 1 month after the purchase I bring out 2 cameras and she says YOU HAVE 2 CAMERAS??

I solved that problem by letting my wife go on a portrait shoot with me...without any prompting, she told me that the fumbling with one body changing lenses looked like a PITA, and it made it take longer...problem solved...I ordered a second body that night!

Brought the AD200 to Disney. Yes it was worth it.

Stacked a magmod bounce on top of a full CTO maggel

I'm still waiting for my A9 to arrive (should be here tomorrow)...and am still debating whether to get the A7rIII or A7III for my second body, but this post is regarding 3rd party dual battery chargers. Has anyone tried any of the following:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076CHQ1PM#customerReviews (external link)

https://www.amazon.com …sw_r_cp_api_k4coAbAY0XSM8 (external link)

I'm not big on 3rd party chargers, but if they work well without any harmful effects on camera body and OEM battery, and are great for traveling due to their compact size...why not use them?

Carlo you again my friend made me bought a magmod. the reviews are true, Gary Fong Lightsphere provides me good light but it always falling off my flash. I have a birthday event coming soon. i will put it to real-world test. I might use the AD200+Magmod combo in RE gigs too. I saw some RE shooters using the combo.

Edit: Great shot by the way.

I would say the A9 and the A7III compliments more to each other. Same MP, same numbers of PDAF points.

Thanks vinz. Yes the mods attach really quickly. Easy to put a setup together on the fly and it really stays on
