I wasn't satisfied with my previous version of this image so I revised it. I went for more abstract this time by rotating the image.

The abstract works well for me.

Thank you. I've been enjoying your beautiful seascape images!

Thank you!

Thanks vinz. Yes the mods attach really quickly. Easy to put a setup together on the fly and it really stays on

Awesome shot Carlo! I need to get that magmod. I have a potential shoot for a dentist office. In addition to shots of the office, they also want shots of the staff. I need a speedlight too. Feel so unprepared!

Great to hear this feedback David. Thank you! Yeah I woke up this morning with the idea. Much better than my first attempt.

Goodluck. A black foamy thingy also helps when shooting in a small space with walls. The following links shows you photos of my shots on a massage clinic where I used black foamy thingy bouncing on the wall. See how directional are the lights.

You can buy a black foamy from michaels. Steal one of your partner's hairband and you're good.

here's the link just for your reference.

Godox V860II. it's really nice using Li-On battery. long life, faster recycling and never overheats. powerful too and has built-in radio receiver.

I agree, the rotation really works on this one, makes it stronger and much more impact.

I will second or third the Magmod...works really good, really fills a space with light.

I’m a big fan of the BFT! Been using one on speedlites for years.

Another vote for the V860II from me. Great speed lite. Love the built in receiver! I have an ad200 coming today. Stoked!

Here's a shot with on camera speedlite equipped with the BFT bounced off wall to my right. I took one without the BFT and there was light spilling everywhere. This one looks much nicer. I took this shot last Sunday....one day before the "Low" theme was announced. A day later and I might have used it instead of the ski shots.

Thanks Gene. I would like to see your version. I tried the 8 point perspective correction as well as the rectangle correction in ViewPoint3 and still couldn't quite get it looking right. Whenever I got the vertical and horizontal lines correct, the image looked pinched on the bottom although the lines were straight. Very weird.

I opened your image in ACR and in the 'Transform Tool' section, I selected the 'Guided' tool in the 'Upright' section on the right. I used two vertical and then two horizontal lines which got me 95% there. After I got back to PS, I opened the image in ACR a 2nd time and used the 'Auto' alignment tool for the remaining correction.

I have the grid lines on in the Transform window but wish I could change their color to separate them from the image more. I have DxO ViewPoint2 but for me, the tools in ACR work best.

And, I think your angled abstract is an even more powerful version as well.
