Thank you Vinz!

Thank you David! Yes the flare was added in post. The shadows and the light on the building were in the raw file. I had positioned the real sun right behind the rusted metal accent wall to control the highlights. I still had to blend in a darker exposure for the sky. Then I added in my flare to the left of the metal wall and did some edits in color efex. I think it came out fairly convincing. I’ll add a disclaimer on my original post.

That's even cooler you added it!!

The flare looks very natural to me Alfredo. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would not have known it was added in post.

Yes, what Gene said.

Alfredo, aren’t you putting together a flash kit? The ad200 is going to be fantastic......for off camera use. If I was putting together a kit from scratch and knew I was going to be mainly using flash off camera, I would forgo the V860II and just go straight to the ad200....at least to start.

Yep. I wanted the flexibility of using both on and off camera flash so I went with the standard speedlight V860II. I'll use it for getting shots of my son and wife and for the occasional portrait for architecture jobs. If I was doing more dedicated portrait sessions, yes I would get either the ad200 or the newer Xplor600. I'm a flash newbie so I'll start with the speedlight. :-P

Flare?
Flare I don't like is strange color blobs found seemingly random in the shot. I don't see that here.
If you're talking about the Sun wrapping around the 'convention center' sign, I actually think that looks look and adds to
the image.....versus when the color blobs happen drawing my eye=not here.

I wasn't sure what to call it. You're right that this is not typical flare. It's more of a subtle sun star.

Here's the contents of the little bag:
MagGrip
MagSphere
MagBeam
Fresnel lens
Godox 350TTS
Godox X1T-S

Beauty of course it works with my a9/a7Riii/a6500/a6300 and the RX10iv which got these shots.
Speaking of the RX10iv, a zoomed in shot showing the detail capable with the 10iv.

There is a forum at Sony support where (me) many have been openly complaining about it.
Brian Smith has sometime over the last week or two also mentioned/hinted at something.
I'd fear/hope I'm wrong it will be in the A7Riv, RX10v, A9r, etc.

While they are at it, they could add an automatic sensor cleaning every time the camera is shut off and on like Canon

I don't think it would do any good! Sony filters are filth magnets. I've never cleaned my Oly sensor=not once! I've cleaned the A7Riii sensor 3 times post the Florida trip, the a9's twice.

Worked out back (cold cold cold) on the bird studio. Took the RX10iv for whatever.
Here is whatever....a distant Bluebird on a remaining tuff and a Finch that posed against
my everyday grey sky.

If I were just getting into BIF/bird photography/wildlife I'd get an RX10iv. It has me rethinking
APS-C totally, mFT too. Only reason now to keep mFT/Olympus is the impunity I enjoy with crap
rainy weather. The M1ii is still the only camera I would purposefully grab going out into rain and not
even think of putting it in a bag or under a cover.

It's interesting... I've been saving up for the 100-400 and the 1.4x extender for bif with my a7riii... but I'm wondering if I should get the rx10 iv instead.
It's very intriguing.

I'm curious to hear how this fresnel lens compares to the "Better Beamer". Have you tried both to be able to compare them Robert?

Have they hinted at how many organs would need to be sold to buy that lens...

I've had to clean my Canon 6D sensor many times.
I bought a little blower for my bag for use with the Sony and it has sufficed thus far.
