My reason for including it was it to serve as a leading line to lead your eye up to the church. Perhaps it's too much of a distraction? I can try a square crop to cut off the bottom. I am with MM. It would work better for me.if it didn't disrupt the door, that seems to be the point of interest based on light and the subject, so it's all about the height of the camera for me.
