Nice setup!

How long did it take for your Pluto order to arrive? I ordered their trigger, valve, and arm last week.

I purchased mine using PayPal and the receipt says I made the purchase on March 20th (my birthday ;) ). It was delivered via USPS on March 29th. You should be able to track your package through DHL. I got the tracking number by following the 'view order' button on the update emails I received.

As a side note, I changed a few things from this setup photo (background, water container, and light positions), and I wasn't able to sync the flash with the drop again. I get frustrated easily so I left things alone for awhile. I've had other things to do and haven't tried again since then so I don't know what I'm still doing wrong yet. I know I did bump the magic arm supporting the valve and that it moved a little during the change of setup but I should be able to break things down and set back up again relatively quickly I would think.

Love all these Cardinal pictures you've taken. They remind me of my grandmother. She used to watch me at her house back when I was really young and my mother and father both worked. There used to be this Cardinal that would always sit in the tree outside her house from time to time. I would see it while playing in her yard and could see it right through the window from her living room as well. I occasionally see one every once in a long while outside my house (I live in the city but there are plenty of trees in my neighborhood). Whenever I see a Cardinal I think it's my grandmother checking in on me and the family. Brings a smile to my face. Just thought I would share. I think they are one of the prettiest birds....but I'm a red head and probably biased...lol

My failed maternity shot of the wife. Decent shot, but I say failed because we never argue, but photographing her always turns into an argument lol.

I initially planned out some spots at a local park....packed up my gear and headed out there...but like every photogenic spot during golden hour ever, the park was crowded, my wife got impatient with me setting up lights (I was visualizing really wicked halo's with rim lights), and we ended up leaving with nothing but failed shots. We got back to our neighborhood at the peak of the golden hour, so I pulled over next to some random shrubbery next to the running trails and snapped this.

Scene is not ideal, but the shot turned out well and it made for a funny story.

Sounds like me and my wife...lol She can't deal with any type of setup for longer than maybe 5 minutes. I think she uses all her patience up with my two little ones. Pic still came out great in the end and makes for a nice story to remember.

Since I speak so often about my kids...here are my two little terrors. (My son just turned 7 and daughter is 3) Please excuse the slight squinting as I had to kind of rush these while I had them outside since my wife was ranting that we were running late for Easter plans.

Wow wow wow Eriet! Awesome. All fantastic. The blue bird is over the top! Save one for me :)

Thanks the black/bluish bird is a Phainopepla..... They sing softly and just beautiful in a way. They have a small white stripe under the wing when they fly but I suck at BIF.

I cought the humming bird as I was shooting the lizard on the tree it was a quick just hit the button and hope series I wish I could have had more DOF to get the lizard and the hummingbird both in focus. But was exciting to see him try to scare off the lizard

The queen is dead...long live the queen.

My neighbor found this dying queen ant and I wanted to photograph it while I could. I placed it on the leaf of a small flower branch I plucked and put on a light stand indoors.

That is a seriously good shot Eriet!
I caught a bee today....he'll head to the macro lab later tonight.
Right now he's breathing ethyl acetate in the jar of death.
