Best small lenses for Sony ff mirrorless?

I want to expand my travel kit a bit for my Sony a9. I already have the 35mm f2.8 ZA. I've heard the 28mm f2 is good and small but that fl is too close to the 35 to justify buying it. Any suggestions on small travel ready lenses? They don't have to be Sony brand but would help as the adapters add size to the setup.

I quite like the fe 50 f1.8 and fe 85 1.8, both really good. The 50 has a bad rep, but with the A7rii, I have no issues. Probably not the fastest lens to track animals, but plenty good for anything else. 85 is said to be batis like at half the cost. Haven't used the batis, but will say that the 85 is extremely sharp and quick AF. The 55 is excellent as well.

What type of shooting are you planning on doing? is AF a requirement?

canon FDn 200mm f4. Sometimes it can flare, but other than that, it's extremely good. $60
Olympus 200 f5, even a little smaller, but contrast and color not on the level of the canon (canon has better coatings). $60

voigtlander 10/12/15 are smallish, but kind of heavy. 3-400 grams if I had to guess.

OM 24, fairly small, even adapted. Optics are pretty strong, but contrast not as good as modern lenses. Got mine for $60 but typically go for more.

voigtlander 12mm vii is pretty darn small and light, but not as strong as newer versions.

canon FDn 135mm f2.8, nice lens, not too big, similar to the 200 in optics, maybe not as strong wide open.

AF would be helpful but I would be lying if I said I haven't had my eye on the Voigtlander 10mm f5.6 for some creative and landscape work. So I'm open to manual focus.

I've been looking at the Voigtlander Super Wide-Heliar 15mm f/4.5 as well. Size doesn't look seem that heavy. 10.37 oz (294 g)

Zeiss Loxia 21. Stellar lens in a compact form factor.

I concur on the Loxia, love that lens. I also love the 55mm 1.8, it's one of the best lenses at any price for my a7rii. I too am trying to find smaller lenses for travel.

I like the Voigtlander 40mm Nokton f/1.4 on my A7R II. It is positively tiny! I also have the Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2. While not small, it is still comfortable enough when attached to the body. And the 35mm focal length + f/1.2 are great for 'all-purpose' shooting - day or night. Most Minolta Rokkors are pretty small - even with an adapter.
