I don't do video so the whole no 4K doesn't bother me. I need to sell my 6D asap :D

Doesn't CR2 mean it's barely trustworthy in the slightest?

Certain specs on the list are CR2 but not all. I believe CR2 is from a trusted source and CR3 is fact

it's interesting specs that's for sure. it wouldn't surprise me at all if the camera is this close.

here is the CR ratings.

[CR0] – Basically a joke
We don’t post these types of things very often, unless we see other sites posting something that is completely untrue and will never happen.

[CR1] – Plausible information, but from an unconfirmed source
This is information we deem as “possible”. However, the information comes from an unknown or anonymous source, so we cannot confirm its authenticity.

[CR2] – Good information from a known source
Even known sources that have been correct in the past may not provide perfect information from time to time. This rating means there’s a strong possibility that the information has some truth to it, but it may be incomplete and/or misinterpreted information.

[CR3] – Fact
We use this rating when we’re sure what we’re posting is a fact.

Have fun here at Canon Rumors, but don’t make and crazy buying decisions based on anything that isn’t rated [CR3]. We do our best to give you the most accurate information possible, but it’s really hard to be correct 100% of the time.

while it is a rumours site and like any rumours site these specs might not be right on the cards. It's important to note that not everything is going to false.

There is strong rumours coming out that the camera will be released next month. But alas time will tell :)

Oh I didn't know the rating scale. I was going off of the Sony rating scale which 5 is a fact and 2 might as well be something some drunk guy outside a bar yells at you. Haha my mistake.

Be interesting to see what the used market holds for the 6D.

CR level 3 [fact] says 45 cross type AF points.

I'm surprised.

They also mention one card slot. That pretty sucky if true! Also no 4K (no surprise there) and priced at $1999.

A dual card slot and 4K would cannibalize 5D4 sales. This makes total sense for Canon (even though it's disappointing).

These specs are what I wish my current 6D had. That being said I have no interest in upgrading. I will, however, rent one and check it out.
Still holding out for the EOS FF mirrorless...

Even Nikon's D610 has two slots. Very dumb IMO.

I have some interest in this camera.. depending on what its all about when officially announced of course..
But I've learned my lesson already from waiting on the 80d and 5d4.. I don't expect to be wowed by anything New ..
I'm sure there will be improvements , but unless they ve done a sudden cleaning house I expect typical Canon upgrades..
better AF , better DR but I don't expect it to be best in its class.. I hope i'm surprised , no actually , I don't hope , I've learned to accept Canons ways..

I'm actually quite surprised they added a fully articaluating screen! that definetly caught my attention.. dual pixel,, well its about time , they ve been guarding that like Gollum with the Ring..
I wonder if the fact the Sony's video AF is getting pretty damn close is finally twisting there arm into putting daul pixel and touch screens into all there cameras..

I'm hoping for some trusty canon weather sealing .. not just "moisture and dust resistant"

The price of $1999 USD looks pretty decent to me, hopefully they will sell it for around $2500 AUD. Once I sell my 6D it should be more than affordable :D

Although 2 SD card slots would be great, I could survive with out but I am surprised they don't include it.

I am very happy about the 45 AF points being cross type, I can finally rely on the outter focus points.
