If this 6D II have 2 SD cards, I would buy 2 and replace my Canon 5D IV. AF & MPx is enough for weddings needs. Having 1 SD card for my clients is irresponsible. Maybe I can consider this as a second camera to my 5D IV once reviews are out.

I am not a professional so I will not address issues that some people are having with the new specs. I would think for those that have major concerns and do not want to change systems the 5DIII, which would be about the same price, or the 5DIV would be the way to go. The IV is more expensive, but not as expensive as changing into a whole new system. I never expect Canon to blow the roof off with any new camera or upgrade. With that being said maybe one day they will surprise me!

Most of the specifications are as aspected but some of them are a little better and some could be a little better...but in my opinion this is a nice balance. If they upgraded the sync speed to 250 or better and the max shutter to 1/8000 and included a second cardslot who would ever buy a 5DIV? Exactly... nobody. I am sure I will buy one in the future. Maybe two. While I never used a camera body with two cardslots, I also hoped it was included. But I accept and understand Canon's decision. Who would buy a 6DII with a $100,- extra option for a second card slot?I would do that. I am reall curious about the sensor quality. Hopefully it is a nice upgrade from the mark 1 in that regard as well. Even better DR and even better ISO... in combination with the 6 extra MP mmmn... ![]() I never thought it should have a second card slot. To me that was reserved for the pro series camera.

DaviSto ... sorry. I got carried away! More info | Jun 26, 2017 18:54 | #75 ma11rats wrote in post #18387639 1dx is 1/250 1D3/4 were 1/300 Too bad we can't get that high any more. How much difference does it really make? A relatively low sync speed will mean that HSS may be needed just a little more often than otherwise and using HSS entails some compromises. But is it really a big deal? David.
