Small backpack?

I have a Lowepro flipside sport 15L AW. It's too big. I want to carry one one lens on the camera and another lens and maybe a flash.

Manfrotto range has plenty if backpacks, some with side access, some with partial access through the top that then opens out to full traditional access, thats the type I've got and I love the fact I can just grab the camera quickly without opening the whole thing up ߘ

CRAZY small. When I opened it I was about as upset as you could be over $18. But then I started thinking, it may come in handy for quick/lighter trips. And the built-in rain cover is a nice touch (if it works).

I just need to get over the aesthetics...it looks ridiculous on me. The only thing missing is some Hello Kitty graphics.

Lowepro Slingshot? I have an older model AW100 that I would use when I went on cycling group rides with my friends and brought my 5d and maybe a lens or two. One strap with an extra cross strap. Actually came in handy, first opened on its side, and then fully unzipped for deeper items. It was rather comfortable being on a road/cyclocross bike riding position too. Top part came in handy for food or a light rain jacket.

I’m a big fan of the Timbuk2 snoop insert in a small messenger bag, it’s inconspicuous and can handle a body w/lens and two additional lenses.

f-stop Kenti. No longer being manufactured but try f-stop and eBay. Small, side-access and the usual f-stop quality design, materials and finishing.

It's a Manfrotto MB MP-BP-50BB Pro Backpack 50, it's HUGE! but, I really love it! I carry so much stuff in it that when fully loaded with my camera bodies, lenses, MacBook Pro, iPad, flashes and so much other stuff, the bag weighs 39 pounds. If I'm gonna hike out for pictures, I do lighten it up a bit but, it still weighs 20-25 pounds. Obviously that bag is too big and heavy to wear hiking around as I had been doing especially like when I recently went to Sedona and was climbing to get to Devils Bridge.

I ordered that exact same bag from Amazon, Case Logic CPL-108BK, I absolutely love it! To me, it's the perfect size. I carry one body with lens attached, a couple extra lenses, a flash and spare batteries for the camera and flash and a couple other miscellaneous items and I still have room for a couple more lenses or an extra body if I want.
It doesn't bother me that I have to remove the pack and remove the camera. Me personally, I don't care for side access packs, just my own preference.

The funny part is that when I read the original post, the first thing I thought of was this Case Logic backpack and then I read your post now, I'm jealous that I didn't get mine for $18.

I did. (Though I thought it wasn't side loaded.) Actually looks like a great option. But instead I went with:

Have you thought about the Lowepro AW250? It is a single sling bag with side access. My only gripe is that I cannot keep my Nikon 55 - 300mm lens attached to my D7100 as it is too long attached, so have to store it in the upper compartment. But I use the 18 - 55 mm more and that fits fine. Only downside is that I acquire more gear, need more bag(s)

I have a good sling, indesign ari marcopolous or something. I was specifically looking for two straps for light hiking.
