This is the famous Pentax K1000, the first camera for many, big part due to it being the issued camera in film class throughout high schools. If you have a child/grandchild interested in taking that class this is the camera to buy, and for hundreds less than what the school will sell you a used one for.
Sad to let this go but mostly shoot medium format now, so it's not getting used.
Has many upgrades.

FULLY Works! do no waste your time and try buying one on eBay/Craigslist, because those are never tested and 90% of the time don't work.
This one has been used livingly for years and has upgrade.
I fixed the broken film counter window ($10 replacement part + 1 hour labor)
Upgraded the lens to the high end SMC version(multi coated), pancake 50mm f2. Super compact and sharp! ($35 +5.96 shipping).
Duracell battery($4.95+tax) I prefer using these over the cheap dollar store one because these will last for 10 years..
Everything on the camera works, including the meter and hotshoe.
The meter is insanely good. Like it matched the results of my 7DM2, a camera 40 years newer!!!
Lens has no fungus, or oil, comes with original lens cap! Got that for $7 off eBay, instead of the cheap replacement ones that never fit right.
