Godox AD600B TTL & X1T-C Trigger works with the latest Yongnuo speedlites ? (eg YN686EX-RT Lithium)

I just bought a new Godox AD600B TTL & X1T-C Godox trigger.
First I planned to buy a Godox V860 II (the latest speedlite with lithium battery), but I read internally it's an old design despite the lithium battery...

In past I worked with the Yongnuo 600 EX-RT's and the YN-E3-RT but sold this set to have a more powerfull Godox 600W strobe.
If I wouldn't buy the strobe I would possibly have upgraded to the Yongnuo YN968EX-RT (with video led light, always handy) or wait for the YN686EX-RT LITHIUM SPEEDLITE.

Would my current Godox setup with X1T-C trigger work with one of those Yongnuo's (as slave) ?
I think the Yongnuo speedlites are more advanced then the Godox.

Yongnuo concentrates more on speedlites (they have only 1 Yongnuo YN 300W strobe, strange that the successor takes so long.
Godox is more specialised in strobes,.... so perfect would be to mix both brands as a strobist setup if possible...

I'm not sure what you have read, though the V860 II are not an old design internally, and they have a far better reliability record than YongNuo speedlites.

Maybe you are reffering to the Canon RT radio in the YongNuo speedlites, its far more practical to stick with the one radio system though.

The Godox radio system is not directy compatible with Canon RT or YongNuo's other radio systems. So a Godox speedlite is a lot more practical, and nicely integrated.

Another question : I have the Canon 85L MKI , this older lens doesn't pass distance info the E-TTL II flash I read here :

So I cannot work TTL with this lens & my Godox TTL strobe ?
It's better to work with my 70-200 2.8LII or 50 Art then...

No, my understanding is that achieved focus distance reporting by the lens is only used for flash under some pretty limited circumstances. It's not used under Canon's off cam flash tech - so, AFAIK, you should be fine with either lens/any of the 3.
