Redwood Wedding in Old Growth

Had a chance to photograph an old growth redwood wedding, and according to my past experience, it was as challenging as suspected if sun was shining ... and the sun was shining. Trunks, water and plants went in and out of shadow by the minute. It felt successful, but I'm not ready for backflips !! Overcast would have been a dream. Anyhow, it was enjoyable. The big trunks photo was following the ceremony which was down near a river through the same redwood forest. The mom & daughter one was not planned and I turned around to capture it. The photo wasn't really in focus and I did not like the color of the original, but thought it had enough emotion to justify keeping it.

Thank you. It was not anticipated, and something I turned around quickly to get. Now it's one of my favorite photos from the day, and another piece of learning for me.

The 2nd shot is a fantastic image but I'm really not a fan of the black(grey) & white conversion. Grey and white images are a real pet hate of mine. This would look sooooo much better if it was either colour or converted to black and white properly.
