A few youngsters in the swamp navigating the shrubbery between feedings and one older bird getting a higher vantage point.

All your Green Heron shots are great, as usual, Steve. They are scarce as hen's teeth up here. I saw one fly down our channel some years ago, but it never stopped.

Thanks Al, sorry to hear they don't visit there much. The spring here at the swamp was good this year. There were several nests but they were in the thick of things so no clear shots in. It got real active once the little ones got off the nests. I went this morning and only saw a couple of adults fly over, no sign of the juvis. Until next spring.
