Jun 26, 2017 15:07 | #2 I think the dead space would work better if it faded uniformly right to left. As it is, I see a bow-tie of light on the couch which doesn't feel right. -- Image Editing OK --

CameraMan Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 27, 2017 16:21 | #4 Same here. too dark and the bow-tie effect looks like we're peeping through binoculars at this innocent looking young lady which is kind of creepy. Photographer

Jun 28, 2017 14:48 | #10 I like it a lot, but I think it might look better if the left side of the binocular view was completely black, I find that cushion a bit distracting.

It doesn't look bad on my computer but it looks creepier on my phone. If that makes any sense... Photographer

CameraMan Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 6 years ago by CameraMan. | Jun 28, 2017 18:21 | #13 This is a crude representation of how I would have processed this. It's hard to make it look nice without the RAW file but I think you get where I am going with this. Image hosted by forum (862421) © CameraMan [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Retro like 1920's might work well with this photo with the lighting and the background that's going on here. Image hosted by forum (862422) © CameraMan [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Jun 29, 2017 08:29 | #15 Some of the people here don't seem to be familiar with Olafs work. I've come to the realization that one-half or one-third under exposure is part of his artistic vision and style. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
