I have this setup:

7d, yn622 trigger, firing 2 x yn685 flashes

I am getting a green (sometimes purple) photo for every 100 shots. This problem has not happened if I replace the 7d with a 5d3 or 6d. This problem used to happen once every 500 shots. Is this a sign the 7d is breaking down? Does anyone know what might the root cause?

Are you shooting lots of photos in rapid succession? What kind of ambient lighting does your shooting environment have? As previously mentioned, an example with full EXIF attached would help.

Here is the original raw file of a purple image attached.

I was shooting fairly slowly, 1 pic every 3-5 seconds.

I have done a lot of continuous shooting (2-3 every second) with the 7d, without flash and did not run similar issues.

guessing you are using auto white balance? Not that I have ever experienced something so out of whack.

Set it to "flash" in camera. I set it to flash in post and it looks right.

LOL regardless of what the camera setting was, it wasn't transferred to the raw file.

Open the file and see that the "as shot" tint is 150.

Or, prove me wrong with a screenshot of the purple file and a tint value of zero.

This is the problem. The setting on the camera is not transferred properly to the raw file.

I reviewed the 'normal' shots, and their Temp=5700 and Tint=0. So even the Temp was not transferred properly for this raw file. I have experienced this even when shooting JPEG so it is not a RAW vs JPEG problem. However I never had this happen when I am shooting continuous, in JPEG and without flash.

I m trying to figure out if this is a problem with the camera (i doubt it) or the YN trigger (likely). I see a lot of yn-622 trigger users here, so i m hoping someone might have seen this before and can point me to a solution.
