1) Has anyone even created the gallery thread yet? 6D Mark II Owners Unite! Discuss and post Photos!
2) I suspect not too many members of POTN have received their 6D2 at this point?

There I created one https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1484128

perhaps we are lucky and no one is buying it.

That way Canon gets the point.

Sorry to tell you but just at store I bought from alone, all 30 they got in (15 body only, 15 with kits) were preordered and sold. The next shipment will have half of them allocated to preorders already. When I was price shopping around it seemed this way everywhere :p

I want to see the impact on 5D4 sales after the point the raw files were exposed on the 6D2. :)

That is pretty typical as the camera just rolls out. All of the beta testers um I mean pre-orders get filled. The real test comes a month or two after release once all the pre-orders are filled.

Rumor has it that the Nikon D850 could have a hybrid OVF/EVF.

Nikon is yet to implement on sensor pdaf with any of their offerings. There was a discussion about Sony not giving their pdaf goodies to Nikon. May be they will come with their own sensor. Without proper on sensor pdaf, hybrid ovf usefulness might be limited.

Debunked by Nikonrumors. SonyAlphaRumors is a shotgun approach to "journalism."

..

Kind of sad when a three year old camera from a competitor beats it in all categories. I think he summed it up well at the end. Canon users are being left in the dust from the competition with even old cameras outperforming brand new Canon offerings.
