Anyone else with a Mac tried Pictorial? The raw processing seems good. It is missing Haze/Dehaze.

I have - a few months ago, v3 was released. I have to say, it is a very impressive product, considering I just purchased it this weekend for $39.99. If you are looking for an environment in which you can edit your images from start to finish, with minimal amounts of post-processing necessary once you leave the raw converter, this is a tremendous value for sure. The local editing tools are very responsive - I have not really tried to stack a ton of local edits on a single image, but people who complain about LR bogging down with local edits might be interested in trying Picktorial out.

Also, it uses DCP profiles (DNG-based camera profiles) so you can use all of your LR/ACR camera profiles.

The authors of this application have really made an impressive product with a small team.

Here is a TWIP podcast video interviewing the author:

At $40, it is a no-brainer. It also can be used as a Photos extension, if you use Photos as your DAM, and it will import existing Aperture catalogs.

A NOTE TO THE OP: you may want to edit the title of the post to spell the name of the app correctly "Picktorial."

Thanks for bringing this application up in the forum - I meant to do a small write up about low-cost, high-quality raw converters for Mac, and this was on the list.

I don't think you can edit a published title. I just love spelling auto-correct. Not.

I have been using it for a few months now, and so far I'm impressed. For the price, there are a lot of very useful tools, and some of them aren't available in any other software I tried, and I'm afraid I tried far too many of them. The local adjustments are especially impressive.
At the time I bought it it was only 30$, a real bargain. At 40$ I think it still is. Of course, there are some features missing, but overall the software is coming along nicely. Kudos to the developers.
