Tablet Support?

I have an ASUS Zen Pad which I use to control my Canon T4i, both for macro and landscape photography.

While I use a home made (PVC) stand for studio macro, I don't have any way to support the tablet for outdoor use on the tripod (Vanguard Alta Pro).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a secure and reasonably priced way to attach the tablet to the tripod (or alternate attachment point) for landscape and [occasional] outdoor macrophotography?

That's a good way to hold the tablet, but how would you mount it to the tripod with the camera mounted? Magic clamp and arm to the tripod leg?

I'm almost done with a DIY project, but I'll probably buy something more sophisticated as well.
