Godox Firmware upgrade

Second time I've tried without succuss. Using the G1 software installed it, connected the transmitter then open software pointed to new FW and then click conned and just says failed.

Who here knows what to do?

First thing to check is the cord. This cord is a common size for smartphones. If you are using a cord from a smartphone make sure it is an actual USB mini (or whatever size it is.) Many of the cords I have tried to use of this size are only charging cords, not actual data cables.

Other thing I could suggest is to make sure the unit is powered down correctly. The directions said to turn it off and then press the test button. When I updated my Flashpoint Li-On Flash I did that and left it off when connected. Normally I would turn the unit on, but the instructions seems to indicate to leave it off. Anyway, when I did it that way, the update completed successfully.

You my friend are a genius and I am an idiot. Stupid cable. Tried another and boom... all my stuff is upgraded within 5 minutes.
