Apparently I found out why there were so many webs, but no spiders.

If I feel like it, I may get up early tomorrow and see if any of them are still out.

There is a whole world of wildlife around at night that we mostly are unaware of. Earlier in the year we took a night nature walk while on vacation in Nicaragua. There were a lot of exotic critters around! Here is an ugly customer. He's so big, it doesn't even qualify as macro.

Naturally of course, if you can't see them, you can't photograph them!

I wonder if there's still one in the side view mirror of my car that I'll never see because it's literally pitch black away from the building.

Unfortunately, not much going on this morning. There was one probable orb weaver who was too active to get a good shot of. It made itself scarce pretty quickly.

Other than that, there was just one mayfly-like insect and it wasn't worth it to get set up.

I'll probably go back out tonight, since that seems like when they're out in the open.
