Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is The Letters V & W. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Well, I looked up "V" and it was pretty sparse, so I will add the letter "W" to the week, because I can...

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

Vines in my yard that we are allowing to grow just so we can see what it turns out to be. Appearing to be a gourd or squash from last falls decoration or left over bird feed? It has grown to twenty feet long in 3 weeks.

Wildflowers, the middle pic is known as Butterfly Milkweed and every insect that passes by has to stop and check it out. Several Monarchs were on this plant but of course when I returned with the camera they flew away not to return. The Milkweed's are flourishing this year just need some spare time to capture the Wildlife that is enjoying the plants.

Steve, one year we had a mystery vine like that. It turned out to be a gourd. We harvested many gourds!

Very nice, Don, but your fake flower could use some fake water.

Wall cloud moved in at sunset, this one surprised me from the North East so shot as it had passed my house. Like the cool temps these bring but the circular cloud movement right behind it can be concerning, this one treated us kindly.

A couple of nice photos of the Wall clouds Steve. The Midwest provides a lot of great opportunities for Weather related photos. Well done.:-)

When I entered Trader Joe's today, a Watermelon-eating contest for employees (speed, not quantity) was starting. What luck, huh?
