Hi All,

I am moving over from my Canon gear and trying to find a X-T20 with the 18-55. It seems to be backordered everywhere. How did you find your camera? What site is best?

TIA

Hi Tia,

I went thru the same frustration trying to purchase the X-T2 shortly after its release as it was sold out everywhere. My local camera store had a huge waiting list and I ultimately ended up purchasing it online from a store in Utah. Check out www.pictureline.com (external link), solid store with excellent customer service.

*UPDATE* they have the body only in stock right now.

My local camera dealer shared with me Fuji is slow when it comes to camera releases. They only give a few cameras at a time to each shop. -?

I want the kit with the 18-55. I'll continue looking.

I may be mistaken, but I remember reading recently that Fuji has stopped offering the 18-55mm as a kit lens. I hope for your sake that isn't the case because it's a fantastic lens... but I remember reading it somewhere official.

If it helps this is Fuji's code for the X-T20 with 18-55 kit lens: 4547410343564

You can google it and get a list of sellers

The reason is that Fuji really only made 7 of them and the ads are taken with mirrors to make it look like a lot of them. They will make more once the Duct Tape shortage is over in Japan... and Red Green comes over from Canada to help tape them together.

But the part stating "usually ships within 1 to 2 months" is less than encouraging.

You can pick up a used kit lens from the Fuji forums or eBay. They are everywhere, if they are truly hard to find like my x-t2 was I would jump on that body only from pictureline.com

There are two kits available. This one casts about $300.00 for the kit than the one with the smaller aperture.
